The Iniquities Trilogy

The three books in The Iniquities Trilogy explore the very different relationships within the extended Donaldson family, specifically identifying the ways in which the evil that parents do is passed on to their children, and their children's children.

INIQUITIES 1 - THE LAST DANCE    (Published June 2006)

INIQUITIES 2 - WALKING ALONE    (Published April 2007)

INIQUITIES 3 - RUNAWAYS               (To be published in Spring 2008)

~~~~~
Each book of the trilogy stands alone as an independent read with a recognisable and, hopefully, satisfying ending.
At the end of The Last Dance you, the reader, think you know what is happening as Max's will is read and, indeed, you do have one view. But there are others.....
At the end of Walking Alone we revisit the reading of Max's will.  A little more of what is occurring in that room is known. More people are there than you thought..... the relationships aren't quite as they appeared.....
It is only at the end of Runaways that you will know the whole truth.
~~~~~

Within each volume there is a love story.  In The Last Dance it is Carl and Susannah; in Walking Alone it is Charles and Holly; and finally in Runaways - Susannah and all her failures...

But at the end of the final book all relationships will be resolved as far as they ever are in life. The truth about Max is finally revealed and, with it, the real reason for his involvement in the lives of the extended Donaldson family.

Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children unto the third and fourth generation."

Exodus chapter 34 verse 7
